Saurabh Aggarwal

Saurabh Aggarwal is an IT manager formerly employed by the Gupta-owned Sahara Computers.

He was also employed at other Gupta companies, including television channel ANN7 and news publisher The New Age. Eyewitness News reported that Aggarwal was referred to as a member of the Gupta family by employees of the family.

Aggarwal was linked to the WMCLeaks website, a disinformation site that launched several smear campaigns agains journalists, politicians and the media in an attempt to defend the Guptas. An investigation by Daily Maverick’s Scorpio, published on the WMCLeaks website, identified Aggarwal based on the metadata contained in PDF files uploaded to the website.

Despite refusing to comment, the documents in question were removed as soon as questions on the topic were sent to Aggarwal.
